Cirrhosis is a liver disease where scarred tissue replaces healthy tissue. This scarring damages the liver and disturbs the liver
functioning. The size of the liver reduces, becomes stiff, and disrupts its functioning. This can also lead to liver failure.
The traditional causes of liver cirrhosis are viruses Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C,
Autoimmune disorder, Wilson’s disease, Long-term alcohol, and NAFLD (non-
alcoholic fatty liver disease). Obesity and Diabetes can also lead to fatty liver.
