About Dr. Akanksha Garg

Dr. Akanksha Garg is a hematologist-oncologist who is very experienced in the field of bone marrow transplants, and the treatment of hematological diseases of both children and adults. Blood cancers, nodal lesions, and conditions that are either inherited or acquired, like thalassemia and sickle cell disease, are among some of the most difficult conditions that the patients of Dr. Garg have to be treated for. Dr. Garg completed her MBBS and MD in Pediatrics from Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, followed by DNB in Pediatrics. She pursued PDCC in Hemato-Oncology and DM in Clinical Hematology from SGPGIMS, Lucknow. She has served as Assistant Professor at GCRI Ahmedabad and Associate Professor at AIIMS Jodhpur. Her international academic exposure includes observerships at Institute Gustave Roussy, France, and Universitätsklinikum, Frankfurt, Germany.
