About Dr. Bina Mavani

Dr. Bina Mavani is a well-experienced and qualified gynaecologist & obstetrician who has been serving in the field of women's health for many decades. In her clinical practice she has been providing various obstetrical and gynecological services, while upgrading her skills with various training programs in fetal imaging and advanced procedures. She is focused on her patients and aims to deliver personalized care for her patients at all times.

Academic Qualifications

In 1993, Dr. Mavani earned her MBBS degree and in 1995, her DGO degree from Government Medical College, Surat. In 1997, she also trained in obstetric ultrasonography at Wadia Hospital, Mumbai and in 2014, completed the advanced training in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at Ruby Hall IVF Centre, Pune.

Over the years, she has worked as a gynecologist at many renowned hospitals among which are the Dinbandhu Charitable Trust Hospital, Navsarjan Maternity and Surgical Hospital, Mayflower Women’s Hospital, and Sunflower Women’s Hospital. She also worked as a consultant at a FOGSI-accredited advanced infertility centre for nearly a decade. Dr. Mavani has actively contributed to academics as an Executive Committee Member of Surat Obstetric & Gynecological Society and has been invited as faculty at FOGSI West Zone and SOGOG conferences.
