Dr. Robert Joseph Benjamin is a highly experienced cardiovascular perfusionist with decades of expertise in supporting complex cardiac surgeries. Having conducted nearly 10,000 perfusion procedures involving both adult and pediatric patients, he has played a vital role in numerous high-risk cardiac operations. His experience includes circulatory arrest procedures, cardiac transplantation support, and the use of advanced extracorporeal circulation systems, ensuring safe and effective heart surgery outcomes.

Academic Qualifications

Dr. Benjamin holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Perfusion Technology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, as well as the Indian Association of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons. He is a certified member of the Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion India and a certified internal auditor for the NABH accreditation program.
Over the years, he has worked with leading cardiac centres across Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Chennai, Vellore, and Saudi Arabia. He is also a founder member and secretary of the Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion India and has actively contributed to the advancement of perfusion services through professional organizations.
