Dr. Shilpa Jasubhai

Professional Bio

Dr. Shilpa Jasubhai embarked on her journey in psychology after completing her schooling in 1980. She pursued both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Psychology from Gujarat University in 1983 and 1985, respectively. Alongside her Master's, her passion for nurturing creativity led her to delve into Interior Designing through a certificate course at the School of Architecture

Her career took a pivotal turn in 2003 when she delved deeper into psychology, driven by an insatiable thirst for knowledge. This quest led her to diverse experiences, including collaborating with the Antarnad Foundation and working alongside esteemed child psychiatrist Dr. Ratna Bilwani, specializing in Dyslexia and ADHD.

The transformative phase continued in 2005 when she explored "Mind Motivation using Brain Research to Enhance Student Performance" at Harvard University. Simultaneously, she became a Psychology lecturer at Mahatma Gandhi International School and pursued a Ph.D. at Gujarat University. Her passion for learning extended to diverse diplomas, including wood ornamentation and glass from the Institute of Design, Art, Expression, and Learning, recognized by ‘Society Interiors’.

Her doctoral achievement in 2007 marked a significant milestone. Driven by a commitment to broadening her expertise, she engaged in numerous certificate courses covering areas like Brain Gym, Optimal Learning, Vision Circle, and more from esteemed institutions like the Institute of Kinesiology, Dyslexia, Emotional freedom technique and Neuro Linguistic Programming.

Armed with an enriched perspective in Clinical Psychology, Dr. Jasubhai's career flourished. She served as a visiting faculty at Pulse Hospital and gained recognition through articles in Sakhi magazine. Her research on "Mental Makeup and Coping Mechanism of Indian Women" earned acknowledgment from the American Psychological Association and was presented at their annual convention.

Her contributions expanded further as a member of the Independent Ethics Committee at Cadila Pharmaceuticals, a Board of Studies member at PDPU, and a registered psychologist with RCI. Over the years, she continued to deepen her expertise through publications, workshops, webinars and affiliations with various institutions like EURO School, J.G. Int. school, and Adani Vidyamandir Int. School, Ahmedabad, India.

Dr. Jasubhai's commitment to research and holistic healing led to accolades, including speaking engagements at prestigious symposiums, conferences, and leadership awards. She continually expanded her knowledge, obtaining certifications in diverse areas such as Reiki, Trinity Merline, Access Consciousness, and Access Body Process.

Her recent endeavors during the pandemic included conducting webinars addressing uncertainties, resilience and mental health challenges showcasing a multifaceted career dedicated to psychology, education, and holistic wellness.
