Professional Bio

Dr. Sandeep Agarwala’s journey began with his education in medicine which started at Grant Medical College & Sir J.J. Group of Hospitals in Mumbai and continued across continents in the United Kingdom where he got certified by ‘Specialty Boards UK’ that made him one of the few surgeons in Western India to achieve it. Over the span of his educational years, he attained the degrees of MBBS, MS (General Surgery), FRCS (Edinburgh), M.Ch (CVTS) & FRCS (C.Th).

Upon completion of training, he moved back to India to offer services to his own country. In India, he took up important roles at various institutions in Mumbai & Ahmedabad over the years. Currently, Dr. Agarwala is a full-time Senior Consultant at Zydus Hospitals, Ahmedabad and also leads our Mechanical Circulatory Support/ECMO/VAD and Cardiac Transplantation program.
