She did her post-graduation in Ophthalmology from one of the premiere institutes of India i.e. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre Hospital, Mumbai. She has done fellowship in Cataract Surgery from Bareja Eye Hospital managed by Blind People's Association, Ahmedabad.
