Dr. Maulik Patwa

Professional Bio:

• Dr. Maulik Patwa is recognized for his expertise in ortho care, trauma and joint replacement surgeries, including endoscopic, microscopic, and minimally invasive procedures. He has more than 2 decades of experience in treating challenging and neglected trauma cases, open fractures, polytrauma cases, pelvic and acetabular fractures, and knee and hip replacement surgeries. Dr. Patwa is dedicated to community involvement in addition to his professional practice. He is engaged in activities ranging from donating blood/blood drives, assisting under-privileged families, organizing and attending orthopedic diagnostic and surgical camps in rural areas. In addition, he often gives lectures and consults with the army, BSF, CISF, ONGC, IFFCO, elderly citizens, and other trusts like Rotary International and Lions Club. Every weekend, he participates in numerous medical camps across Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Dr. Patwa participated in the travelling fellowship program offered by OREF, Chicago, in addition to the AO-International Fellowship program (under Profs. Kuno Weise and D. Hoentsch) in order to achieve higher competency skills.

His professional connections at the V S General Hospital and Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, as well as the L G General Hospital and Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, helped him advance his learning curve to new heights. Dr. Patwa gave lectures for many years at Mun. Medical College and L.G. Gen Hospital in Ahmedabad, India.
