Dr. Kalpesh Shah is a renowned Neurosurgeon and Neurointerventionist with broad experience of more than 2 decades in the field of conventional neurosurgery, micro neurosurgery as well as interventional (Endovascular) neurosurgery. He has operated more than 10,000 neurosurgery cases and more than 2000 endovascular cases. He has the highest experience for FLOW DIVERTER STENTING AND INTRA ANEURYSMAL CLOSURE DEVICES for brain (Cerebral) Aneurysms in Gujarat. His clinical and neurosurgical expertise includes :

• Endovascular coiling of intracranial aneurysm, carotid stenting, embolization of arteriovenous malformation and tumours.
• Broad experience in surgery for various traumatic head injury
• Conducted microscopic brain surgery for brain tumours like glioma, meningioma, pituitary tumours, epidermoid etc.
• Performed trans-sphenoid and trans-nasal micro neurosurgery for pituitary adenomas and craniopharyngiomas
• Stereo tactic neurosurgeries for brain tumours, drainage of intracerebral hematomas

• In 2019 he created the first 3D Neuro Cath lab in Gujarat at Zydus Hospital with first dedicated Neurointervention department.
• He has been a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Shalby Hospitals, Ahmedabad, Gujarat from 2009 to 2015.
• He has done training of residents in M.Ch. neurosurgery and he was the rotating houseman.
• He was an Honorary lecturer at physiotherapy school - AIMS.
• He has been an examiner for M. Ch. (neurosurgery) theory and practical university board examinations.
