Professional Bio:

• Dr. Gaurang Rathod is an expert Radiologist with several years of experience and expertise in the field of Radiology. His clinical experience involves Plain X-rays, Contrast Procedures, Ultrasonography, Doppler study, CT scans, Interventional procedures and Angiography.

Academic Details:

• M.B.B.S from N.H.L Municipal Medical College in 2001.
• Internship from SHETH. V.S. G. HOSPITAL, Smt. N.H.L MUNICIPAL MEDICAL COLLEGE, AHMEDABAD, GUJARAT OCT 2001 to OCT 2002.
• Graduation from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College, Smt. S.C.L. General Hospital, Saraspur, Ahmedabad.

Past Associations:

• He has worked at Sterling Hospital, Ahmedabad from sept 2012, as a Consulting Radiologist doing all modalities i.e. MDCT, MRI(1.5T), Ultrasound & Color Doppler, USG guided interventions and X-rays.
• He was a Consulting Radiologist at Rajasthan Hospital, Shahibaug, Ahmedabad from 2011 to 2012(1.3 yrs.).
• He worked as a MRI consultant in Mediax Imaging Centre, V. S MRI division independently where he handled MR reporting of Brain and Body MRI with vast exposure to all kind of patients i.e. 40-50 MRI reports daily. Also worked as Independent Consulting Radiologist and Sonologist for Private Multispecialty Hospital in Ahmedabad having complete set up of Spiral CT scan, Digital X- ray and Ultrasound modalities where he had a vast exposure to all Modalities, Specialty work, all kind of Emergency Radiology work, Sonograms, CT scan and Non-Vascular Interventional Radiology work.
• He was a Junior Lecturer at Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute, Civil Campus, Ahmedabad (2006-2007).
