Professional Bio:

• Dr. Manish Dabhi is presently associated with Zydus Hospitals, Vadodara as Sr. Nephrologist. He has an illustrious career of more than 20 years in the field of Nephrology and Transplant Medicine. He has been awarded the prestigious Dr. H.L. Trivedi Gold Medal in DNB (Nephrology) at MPUH, Nadiad. He has taught as an Assistant Professor at IKDRC, Ahmedabad and was also a visiting faculty at MPUH, Nadiad. He is a member of the Indian Society of Nephrology, European Renal Association, American Society of Nephrology, and International Society of Nephrology.

Clinical Expertise:

• Management of chronic kidney diseases and its complications with a focus on retarding progression
• Treatment of End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) using various modalities of renal replacement therapy (RRT) like hemodialysis (HD), hemodiafiltration (HDF), continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD)
• Stringent follow-up care and supportive treatment of associated problems like anemia and bone disease, ensuring adequacy of RRT and good quality of life
• Management of Acute Kidney Injury and its sequelae as part of Critical Care Nephrology including SLED, plasmapheresis, hemofiltration, Cytosorb
• Vascular access — temporary and permanent, for management of kidney ailments
• Renal transplant — workup, donor suitability, management of complications, immunosuppression, and long-term follow-up
• Management of recurrent stones, urinary tract infections, ADPKD
